Traveling to Morocco after curating an exhibition heavily involving their textiles, I was overwhelmed. I suddenly found myself alone in a country with no common language, few contacts, no itenerary, and almost no budget. Rather than mope around, I set myself the challenge of documenting the journey in black and white to off-set the often exoticized colors that are so familiar. Llevame de Vuelta is short travelog composed of photographs and short fictive stories from this trip.
