Power Toilet: JP Morgan Chase

In 2011, working under Executive Producer Dina Pugh, for Creative Time’s Landmark exhibition Living as Form I was given the task of producing SUPERFLEX’s commission: Power Toilet: JPMorgan Chase

The brief was to recreate a functioning 1-1 version of an executive level bank bathroom somewhere on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

I managed to get several images from JPMorgan Chase which I then had faithfully reproduced in the bathroom of the Olympic Diner at 115 Delancey Street. The piece made the front page of The New York Times Arts Section. It was also my first public art production and, for a time, the only permanent piece produced by Creative Time.
